Notice of Public Hearing

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Kearney County Board of Commissioners on the 18th day of August 2026; 9:50 a.m. at the Kearney County Fairgrounds Building, in Minden, of Kearney County Nebraska to hear public comments on

• Special Use Permit Application: 5.24 Permitted special uses #4 – Mineral extraction, which shall include the following: oil wells, sand and gravel extraction and quarries by Werner Construction LLC to conduct mineral extraction (pump gravel) on a tract of land located ½ mile north of 50A on 32^nd Road (Hwy 10) in the NE ¼ of Section – 24 T-8 R-15W of Kearney County.

Questions or comments may be directed to the County Zoning Administrator Office at 308-832-2795.  An agenda and copy of proposed regulations for this meeting, kept continuously current, and available for public inspection at the office of the Zoning Administrator.  The agenda may be modified prior to such meeting.
