The Kearney County Road Department will be accepting applications for a Full-Time Sign Tech / Equipment II Operator.
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have general knowledge of heavy equipment and road maintenance procedures. Job entails road sign installation and maintenance, operating heavy equipment, trucks, tractors and other road equipment on and off the road surface and other road maintenance operations. Office and computer skills will be required to manage inventory and associated paperwork.
Class B CDL is required, Class A is preferred. Benefit packages include health insurance with cost share for family, dental, vision and life insurance, retirement, vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays. The starting wage is proportionate to experience.
