Full-Time Mechanic/Shop Foreman

The Kearney County Road Department will be accepting applications for a Full-Time Mechanic/Shop Foreman. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and have mechanical knowledge to perform maintenance and repair work on all types of vehicles, heavy equipment, and specialized machines used in conjunction with Road Department operations. Office & computer skills will be required to manage parts, shop inventory and associated paperwork.
Class A CDL required. Kearney County benefit package includes health insurance with cost share for family, dental & life insurance, retirement, vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays. The starting wage is proportionate to experience.
