Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Kearney County Joint Planning Commission on the 13th day of July 2026; 6:00 p.m. in the Assembly Room of the Kearney County Courthouse, in Minden, of Kearney County Nebraska to hear public comments on

• Special Use Permit Application: 5.24 Permitted special uses #4 – Mineral extraction, which shall include the following: oil wells, sand and gravel extraction and quarries by Werner Construction LLC to conduct mineral extraction (pump gravel) on a tract of land located ½ mile north of 50A on 32nd Road in the NE ¼ of Section – 24 T-8 R-15W of Kearney County.

An agenda and copy of proposed regulations for this meeting, kept continuously current, and available for public inspection at the office of the Zoning Administrator. The agenda may be modified prior to such meeting.
