ELECTION NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, a Primary
Election and on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, a General Election
will be held at the polling places in each precinct in Kearney
County, Nebraska. The following is a list of offices that will be up
for nomination or election in Kearney County, Nebraska. The
Incumbent (any current office holder) filing deadline is February
17, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. The Non-Incumbent (new filers) filing
deadline is March 2, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

In some cases, a filing fee will be required which is 1% of the
officer’s annual salary.
Some candidates may be required to
complete forms with the Nebraska Accountability and Disclosure
Commission.
